O Family: We’re not in Kansas any more…

I recently got back from a week long vacation in Florida. I had the pleasure of staying with my best friend from college. She and her family had JUST moved down to Florida from Kansas. While her mom wasn’t too pleased to hear of the move (as it’s a 16hr drive instead of a 6hr drive) I was quite ecstatic for such an awesome vacation spot and told her to make sure to find a 3 bedroom place. Thankfully, she did! I wasted no time in planning our first vacation in 6 years to come stay with my friends.

During that week, my friend and I took a couple strolls around her community and I loved all the trees, ponds, and scenery in her area. I really wanted to capture her family in their new home so our session took place just outside her door… and around the corner. However, fitting the session into our fun filled days was more difficult than anticipated, but we were able to squeeze it in… in the last 30minutes before we drove back to Kentucky. Though, I couldn’t have asked for a better end to my vacation than to photograph my best friend and her family. Our kids got along great and I am so happy I got to spend more than just a few hours with my bestie.

Thank you Staci and Zach for hosting us on our vacation! Love you and miss you all!! *Forgive me for the title… I couldn’t resist!*

P.S. Move back to Kentucky! Sorry Zach, can’t blame me for trying! ;)

Awww, thanks Michelle!! I’m glad you all were able to come down! We had fun and it was really good being able to spend more than just a few minutes or hours with you! I know you’ll be back for another visit, unlike Kansas (where you never visited! ;) )! I’m so glad you were able to do a session with us! Your work is absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see more!!
